Hello Simon, can you introduce yourself and tell us a few words about NetMedia Group?

I am Sales Director at Netmedia. We are a communication and media group specialized in BtoB. We publish about ten media brands that target executives and company managers. NetMedia has also several integrated agencies that offer our different clients to work upstream on their communication strategy on the right messages to publish. Finally, we have a media part for the activation.

Today, NetMedia has 150 employees in 6 countries for a turnover of €25M with the ambition to reach €100M in 2025.


What sales tools do you use?

We have been working with Salesforce CRM for about 7 years, Teams for visios and EverReady for CRM updates.


What are your business challenges?

We have many challenges but I will highlight the 2 main ones:

  • The first is the follow-up of leads. Today, we are lucky to have a very efficient marketing team within the agency that generates a lot of leads from a multitude of sources, but we still have a lot of room for improvement when it comes to analyzing lead follow-up.
  • The second challenge is industrialization. Today, we are organized within the agency into 4 BUs and 15 sales people. Our ambition is to multiply by 4 our turnover, from 25 to 100M€. Many recruitments are planned in 2023 to increase the team to 23 sales people and therefore we have a challenge to organize the sales management. We now know what the best practices are for new salespeople in terms of onboarding and we need to put in place the right KPIs and processes for new arrivals.


What are the benefits of EverReady?

The first benefit is the time saving for our sales teams. With EverReady, they no longer need to log their tasks, calls, emails and appointments. Everything is done automatically between Outlook and Salesforce

The second benefit is the updating of data in the CRM. In addition to synchronizing contacts and interactions, EverReady allows me to access all email exchanges with customers and prospects. I can also visualize all the meetings made by my teams, including those of sales who have left the company. I have a fine granularity of the activity of all the sales people whether they are present or not. And that, without the need for salespeople to be comfortable with Salesforce because everything is done automatically. It’s really valuable to have the customer relationship history directly in Salesforce.
